Starting with a 30 second opening statement, introducing their Community Service Initiative, themselves, or however you would like to present. This is followed by a nine minute and 30 second interview for Miss and 7 minutes and 30 seonds for Teen. The interview ranges in topic from your Community Service Initiative, to education goals, to current events. Any and all questions are fair game. (In total: Miss is 10 minutes and Teen is 8 minutes)
This is your first on-stage event of the pageant! In your "Miss Western Mass" shirt and jeans, you'll perform the choreography learned at boot camp and introduce yourself to the audience and judges. This phase is NOT judged or scored. This is a fun chance to dance out the nerves and lock in for the competition.
This is a single question asked to each delegate pertaining to the Community Service Initiative. It is an opportunity to underscore the importance of, and passion for, their chosen service platform.
A delegate’s discipline and commitment to being physically healthy is a key to success in all areas of life. The routines are of equal length and choreographed to highlight their personal fitness. Must be wearing Rebel Athletics RED Miss America Line of Activewear.
Presentations may include singing, dancing, instruments, etc.. Additionally, delegates who may not have a traditional stage talent are encouraged to present a “HERstory” piece – a personal story which can move, inspire, or entertain.
